Tango with Cows was at Codex this past April 10–13, table 173. Thanks to everyone that stopped by especially Margarita Nafpaktitis from Stanford, Jane Siegel from Columbia, and Josh Hockensmith from UNC, who all ordered copies of the deluxe edition.
There are two pieces of news about Tango with Cows to share. The first is that the deluxe edition recently was a semi-finalist in the 2022 MCBA Prize, an international book arts award: mcbaprize.org. The second is that production of the Standard edition is well under way and the first copies should be delivered to the project's Kickstarter subscribers soon. The first round of proofs of the commentary book and supplemental portfolio have been reviewed. Once the commentary book has been printed then I can begin the final production steps and start delivering finished copies.
Today marks the beginning of the end to producing Tango with Cows: Translation, Facsimile, and Commentary with a new website and a Kickstarter campaign to fund the final production of the edition. The translation has already been printed and bound, and the commentary book has been written and designed, all that is left is production, production, production.
